I've studied Shuai Chiao, Boxing, and Krav Maga. Every system has it's good and bad. Use those techniques that work for you and leave the rest. But lets look at the zombie. Grabbing and biting are the main attacks. So you need to avoid the mouth and train to break away after being grabbed. Zombies appear to travel in groups as well. Krav Maga will tell you, on the ground is where you don't want to be, because the guy your fighting may have friends who may view your head as a soccer ball and start kicking. So it's ground moves are to minimize your time on the ground. Also you train by being attacked in groups. You always want to try to keep a person between you and the rest of the group. And to take from Marc "The animal" Macyoung. The last place you want to be is in a fight. Put the guy or zombie down a run like hell. I'm not trying to say any art is better over the other. But a philosophy of hit and run is good for situations involving the living or dead.

Just the fact that boxers have the hardest punch known to science. A good hit has been known to give people concussions and factor in the undead brainmatter that can take less dmg than a healthy one well that equals one dead zombie.

I love this article !!

As a woman doing jujitsu and trying to learn bjj it so annoying when i get told the bjj class by me doesn't teach girls as it distracts from proper bjj . Im lucky Ive got a great jujitsu class but it gets to you being told all the time you wont be as good as a male partner . every time we get someone new in my jujitsu class it is either crush me or fight me like im made of glass . mostly crush me as they dont want to be tapped out by the "girl" .....

Gets tough when everyone else in your class is two times heavy than you twice a week but i love it . Shame though im the only girl , friends of mine have joined other bjj classes closer to them and left after being crushed the second week or got fed up being treated as the "girl" ...
or your right having guys get weird cause the got hold of your bra...get over it

sometimes i just wish it was more open and encouraging for women to really show what they are made of , in equal with men . no special treatment no crushing her to death to show your tougher than a girl ...(Lucky my trainer is epic and wont stand for new guys trying this with me , im no different at my class than anyone else or any of the other smaller guys )

i love your page though , shows a attitude i wish more people had .

Thanks

Yeah, exactly what I thought. I am starting to get to the point that I don't even feel like voicing the practicality arguement anymore.
